Every photo session is special, but this one is particularly sweet because of how it came to be.
I initially met Chandler and Nathan last year after they won a giveaway I did with The Connected Co, a permanent jewelry business in Arizona. Isn’t that so fun? They won a mini-session and we took their photos during the superbloom in the Phoenix area last year. I am obsessed with how they turned out!
A few months after their mini-session, Chandler reached out to me to ask if I would be their wedding photographer. While Chandler and Nathan are already legally married with two beautiful babies, they decided it was time to plan their dream wedding. I love these two and this idea – it’s never too late to make your ideal wedding a reality. I am beyond excited to be a part of their big day!
As soon as we scheduled their wedding, we booked a time for some engagement photos. I offer complementary engagements in all of my wedding packages because first and foremost, I love taking them so much! It’s also a fantastic way for the couple and I to get to know each other and for them to spend some time in front of the camera so they’re comfortable when their big day arrives. That wasn’t a worry at all for this session though, Nathan and Chandler were both naturals!
Not only are Nathan and Chandler a gorgeous couple, but they’re so much fun to be around! During both their mini-session last year and their recent engagement session, we had the best time laughing and chatting about life. I loved discussing wedding details and hearing about their big plans!
We took Nathan and Chandler’s engagement photos in East Gilbert at a water preserve. The greenery and trees really stand out against the typical Arizona desert landscape, making it a perfect little slice of heaven. I was worried about potential rain, but the weather ended up being nice and overcast during our whole session. The photos turned out beautifully!
