Earlier this month I blogged the first-look photos from this lovely couple, and now I am so excited to share about their wedding day! I could go on and on about how wonderful Macy and Zach were to work with, and their big day was no exception. It’s so fun to photograph multiple parts of my client’s wedding festivities.
Their wedding day was planned for a few weeks after our session at Saguaro Lake. Macy and Zach were married in the Gilbert LDS Temple on a beautiful December day. The Gilbert Temple is so stunning– it’s one of my favorite wedding locations! The variation throughout the grounds surrounding the temple is a photographer’s dream. There are so many great spots to take both couples and group photos.
Macy and Zach shared their day with lots of their closest family and friends. I love watching my couples interact with all the people who came to support them. The bride and groom shared so many special moments throughout the day with their loved ones. It was so sweet to capture!
After we took family photos and a few bridals on the temple grounds, everyone traveled to the Val Vista Lakes Clubhouse for the rest of the wedding festivities. Macy and Zach held a simple and heartfelt ring ceremony at their venue for the members of the wedding party who couldn’t be at the temple. It was a beautiful event for beautiful people.
The Val Vista Lakes Clubhouse is a gorgeous venue in Gilbert that sits right on the water. Everything about the setup and decorations was so beautiful. They filled the clubhouse with florals and greenery that just made everything feel both classy and relaxed at the same time. After the ceremony, the schedule for the day included dinner, an incredible dance party, and a boat sendoff! It was so fun and unique.
Between all the day’s business, I like to find pockets of time for the bride and groom to sneak away for a few photos. It’s always nice for them to have a moment of reprieve to just breathe it all in. These pictures are always my favorites to look back on, and I know they’re special for my clients too!
Everything about Macy and Zach’s wedding day was picture-perfect. I loved working with them, and wish them all the best as they begin this new chapter of their lives together.
